Caylee's Law A Poem by Terry Lynch
Caylee's Law Poem
Is Justice truly oh so blind
That it not be given to a child?
What mother would cast away
Like garbage her treasured dearest?
What nation would permit
Any to walk free who cherish not
The innocent lives in their care?
We the people make the laws
That though Justice may be blind
She carries our sword and scales.
Thus that those who cannot
Speak nor fend for themselves be abused,
Molested, raped, exploited,
Let us scribe laws of steel
As might God burn in stone
That the innocent never be left
Wanting of Justice through our
Negligence or will to do right.
